International Day of the Girl Child

October 11th we celebrated International Day of the Girl Child. We took the morning to dream for all the girls we knew and didn’t know. I asked them the question “What do we want to see for our girls?” So we wrote out prayers and left them on our butcher paper wall. The installation will serve as a reminder about the dreams and prayers we have for girls throughout the week (or months we leave this up). I challenge you to create your own wall and write our your dreams for our girls.
